Terms governing the use of WebHosting|4U services and products

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the services provided by the sole proprietorship under the trade name CodeCard.Cloud and the distinctive title WebHosting4U, owned by Eleftherios Skoulas, with registered office at 31 Thermopylon Street, 18900 Salamina, Attica, Greece, General Commercial Registry (GEMI) No. 175884103000, and EETT Registry No. 23-131 (hereinafter "the Company", "we", "us").
The Company operates in the field of web hosting services, email hosting, domain name registration, radio streaming hosting, and web design, through the website webhosting4u.gr.
The use of any service provided by the Company requires full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions shall apply:
- "We" / "Company" / "WebHosting4U": The sole proprietorship CodeCard.Cloud (d.b.a. WebHosting4U), owned by Eleftherios Skoulas, GEMI 175884103000.
- "You" / "User" / "Client": Any natural or legal person who uses our Services, whether as a registered user or as a visitor.
- "Services": All services provided by the Company, including but not limited to: web hosting, email hosting, domain name registration, radio streaming, web design, and any related services.
- "Website": The website webhosting4u.gr and all of its subdomains.
- "Client Platform": The client account management system (WHMCS), accessible through the Website, where the Client manages services, payments, and support requests.
- "Agreement": The agreement entered into between the Company and the Client upon activation of a service, which includes these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Data Processing Agreement.
- "Domain Name": The unique alphanumeric address mapped to an IP address on the Internet (e.g., example.gr).
- "Domain Name Regulation": The applicable Regulation on the Management and Assignment of Domain Names with the .gr/.el extension, as issued by EETT (Government Gazette B' 2908/2024).
3. Scope
These Terms apply to all services provided through the Website and the Client Platform, including but not limited to:
- Web Hosting: Shared hosting, reseller hosting, and any related hosting services.
- Email Hosting: Business email, email reseller hosting, and newsletter service (email marketing).
- Domain Name Registration: Registration, renewal, transfer, and management of .gr/.el domain names in accordance with the Domain Name Regulation (Government Gazette B' 2908/2024) and other extensions (gTLDs, ccTLDs).
- Radio Streaming: Radio streaming hosting services (Icecast/SHOUTcast).
- Web Design: Custom website design and development.
The Company is a licensed .gr/.el Domain Name Registrar, in accordance with applicable legislation and the decisions of the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), with Registry No. 23-131.
4. Formation of Agreement
The agreement between the Company and the Client is formed through electronic registration on the Client Platform (WHMCS) and the completion of a service order. Upon registration, the Client is required to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information.
Completion of the order and payment of the corresponding fee constitute full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Data Processing Agreement.
The Client represents and warrants that:
- They have legal capacity under the Greek Civil Code or are acting as the legal representative of a legal entity.
- The information provided during registration is truthful, complete, and up to date.
- They will promptly notify the Company of any changes to their information.
- They have read and fully accept these Terms.
The Company reserves the right to refuse the provision of services to any person or entity, at its sole discretion.
5. Pricing and VAT
All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR). Unless expressly stated otherwise, the listed prices do not include Value Added Tax (VAT).
VAT at the rate of 24% is added to service prices in accordance with applicable Greek legislation. The final invoice issued through the Client Platform itemizes the net amount, the VAT, and the total payable amount.
Registration and renewal fees for .gr/.el domain names are determined in accordance with Article 17 of the Domain Name Regulation (Government Gazette B' 2908/2024) and may be amended following a relevant decision by EETT.
The Company reserves the right to modify its price list at any time. Any modifications shall not affect active subscriptions until the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Payment Methods
The Company accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit / Debit Card: Visa, Mastercard, and other cards via the Stripe platform. The Company does not store, process, or have access to your card details. Payment processing is performed exclusively by Stripe, Inc., which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
- Bank Transfer: Deposit to the Company's bank account. Payment details are stated on the invoice issued through the Client Platform.
Service activation takes place upon confirmation of receipt of payment. In the case of bank transfer, activation occurs within one (1) business day of confirmation of the deposit.
The Company does not accept payments via PayPal or cash on delivery.
7. Duration, Renewal, and Expiry
The duration of each service is determined at the time of order (monthly, annual, biennial, etc.) and is stated on the corresponding invoice.
The Company sends renewal notices by email at the following intervals before expiry: sixty (60), thirty (30), fifteen (15), seven (7), and one (1) day(s). The responsibility for monitoring the expiry date and timely renewal rests solely with the Client.
In the event of non-renewal of a hosting or email service by the expiry date, the service shall be suspended. After thirty (30) days from suspension, all data shall be permanently deleted without the possibility of recovery.
For .gr/.el domain names, in the event of non-renewal, the quarantine period prescribed by the Domain Name Regulation shall apply. During the quarantine period, the domain name is not available for registration by third parties; however, its renewal may be subject to an additional fee. Upon expiry of the quarantine period, the domain name is released and becomes available to third parties.
8. Domain Names
The Company, as a licensed Registrar (EETT Reg. No.: 23-131), provides domain name registration, renewal, transfer, and management services, in accordance with the Regulation on the Management and Assignment of Domain Names with the .gr/.el extension (Government Gazette B' 2908/2024) and the regulations of the respective registries for other extensions.
Registration and Ownership: The Client (Registrant) acquires the right to use the domain name for the period for which the corresponding fees have been paid. Domain name registration does not constitute ownership but rather a right of use.
Transfer: The transfer of a domain name to another Registrar is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the competent registry and the Domain Name Regulation. The Company shall not impede the transfer provided that all legal requirements are met.
Statutory Declaration: For .gr/.el domain name registrations, the Client is required to submit the necessary supporting documents and statutory declarations in accordance with the Regulation. The relevant forms are available on the domains page.
WHOIS Privacy: The Company provides WHOIS privacy services through the provider Anonymouse Domains, s.r.o., for extensions that support this feature. WHOIS privacy does not apply to .gr/.el domain names, for which information is published in accordance with the Regulation.
Registrant Obligations: The Client is required to maintain up-to-date contact information associated with the domain name, to refrain from using the domain name in violation of the rights of third parties (trademarks, intellectual property), and to comply with the applicable Domain Name Regulation and the rules of the relevant registry.
9. Refund Policy
The Company offers a fifteen (15) day money-back guarantee for new hosting services (web hosting and email hosting), subject to the following conditions:
- The refund request must be submitted within fifteen (15) calendar days from the service activation date.
- The guarantee applies exclusively to new sign-ups and does not cover renewals or upgrades of existing services.
- Domain name registration fees are expressly excluded from the money-back guarantee, as registration is non-reversible.
- Radio streaming, web design, and other custom services are also excluded.
Refunds are processed within sixty (60) calendar days of approval of the request. The refund is issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase (card credit or bank transfer).
To submit a refund request, the Client may open a support ticket through the Client Platform or send an email to support@webhosting4u.gr.
10. Acceptable Use Policy
The Client undertakes to use the Services in accordance with applicable Greek and European legislation and these Terms. The following are expressly prohibited:
- Illegal content: Hosting, storing, or distributing content that violates Greek or European law, including but not limited to copyrighted material without authorization, child pornography, and material inciting hatred or violence.
- Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or using the services to facilitate the sending of spam.
- Malicious activities: Conducting or facilitating cyberattacks (hacking, DDoS, phishing, malware distribution, brute force attacks) or any activity that jeopardizes the security of our systems or those of third parties.
- Resource abuse: Excessive use of server resources (CPU, RAM, I/O, bandwidth) that adversely affects performance for other users in a shared hosting environment.
- Impersonation: Using false identity information or pretending to act on behalf of a third party without authorization.
- Infringement of third-party rights: Hosting content that infringes trademarks, patents, copyrights, or other rights of third parties.
In the event of a breach of this Acceptable Use Policy, the Company is entitled to suspend or terminate the provision of services without liability, without prior notice where deemed urgent, and without obligation to issue a refund.
The Company cooperates with the competent authorities in the event of a legal obligation or court order.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website (text, graphics, logos, icons, images, designs, source code, databases) constitutes the intellectual property of the Company or of third-party licensors and is protected by Greek, European, and international intellectual property law (Law 2121/1993, Directive 2001/29/EC).
Reproduction, copying, modification, publication, resale, or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the Website content is prohibited without the prior written consent of the Company.
The Client retains full intellectual property rights over the content uploaded to or stored on our servers. The Company acquires no rights over the Client's content, other than the right to store and transmit it as necessary for the provision of the agreed services.
12. Personal Data Protection
The Company is committed to the protection of the personal data of Clients and users, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Law 4624/2019 (the Greek implementing law of the GDPR), and Law 5160/2024 on electronic communications.
Detailed information regarding the collection, processing, and protection of your personal data is set out in:
- The Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
- The Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which governs the relationship between the Company and the Client as Data Controller and Data Processor respectively.
The Client, as Data Controller for the data stored on our servers, bears the responsibility of compliance with the GDPR with respect to such data. The Company acts as Data Processor and processes the data solely in accordance with the Client's instructions and the Data Processing Agreement.
13. Termination of Agreement
By the Client: The Client may terminate the agreement at any time by submitting a cancellation request through the Client Platform or by sending an email to support@webhosting4u.gr. The cancellation shall take effect at the end of the current prepaid billing cycle. No pro-rata refund shall be provided for the remaining period, unless the cancellation falls within the 15-day money-back guarantee (Section 9).
By the Company: The Company is entitled to suspend or terminate the provision of services:
- In the event of a breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
- In the event of non-payment of outstanding amounts within the prescribed time period.
- Pursuant to a court order or an order from a competent authority.
- In the event that the continued provision of services jeopardizes the security or stability of the infrastructure.
Data deletion: Following termination of the agreement and the lapse of thirty (30) days, the Client's data (files, databases, emails) shall be permanently deleted. The Client is required to obtain backup copies of their data prior to termination.
Termination shall not affect any claims that arose prior to termination, nor the provisions that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law).
14. Limitation of Liability
The Company shall make every reasonable effort to ensure uninterrupted operation of its services. However, it does not warrant that the services will be provided without interruptions, errors, or defects. Our servers are hosted at the facilities of Synapsecom S.A. in Greece.
The Company shall not be liable for:
- Loss of Client data. The Client bears sole responsibility for maintaining backup copies.
- Lost profits, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, regardless of cause.
- Damages caused by acts or omissions of third parties (e.g., cyberattacks, network failures).
- Temporary inability to provide services due to scheduled maintenance, of which the Client is notified in advance.
Maximum liability: In all cases, the total liability of the Company shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the affected service during the preceding twelve (12) months.
Force majeure: The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in the performance of its obligations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, pandemics, governmental actions, failures of third-party telecommunications networks or electricity providers.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed exclusively by Greek law.
Any dispute arising in connection with the interpretation or application of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Salamina / Piraeus, Greece.
If the Client qualifies as a consumer within the meaning of Law 2251/1994, they may refer the matter to the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) or to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
16. Amendments to Terms
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any amendments shall take effect upon publication on the Website.
In the event of material amendments, the Company shall notify Clients by email or through an announcement on the Client Platform at least thirty (30) days prior to implementation.
Continued use of the Services following the publication of amended Terms shall constitute acceptance thereof. If the Client does not agree with the amended Terms, they are entitled to terminate the agreement in accordance with the procedure set out in Section 13.
